I know why May is pretending her plan is workable. I don't know why newspapers are. I think, moving closer to a workable plan is still very good progress, I don't know why anyone is pretending this plan is, itself, workable (unless it is, in which case someone explain to me how).

Date: 2018-07-13 12:32 pm (UTC)There's an awful lot of problems everywhere, but despite very incomplete enforcement, I feel like the human rights have acted as a rudder for arranging some number of positive changes -- it seemed like doing away with them was a big driver for many right-wing politicians.
