How come Musk has so much money to piss away on massive mistakes like this?

> At the same time, it's rarely a good idea to underestimate Musk. Musk has a long history of setting optimistic deadlines for his companies and then failing to meet them. But Musk is persistent and a quick learner.

So actually, we're overestimating him, because he's spectacularly bad at researching a problem space before leaping in.

Well, I don't want to get my hopes overly up (I hoped this would happen several iterations ago!) but would be a significant improvement!

I'm still *really* fuzzy on these concepts which are quite important, but I thought that an open Irish border needed a single market, not just a customs union; I don't know if this implies that the govt would fold on that too, or not.

I don't know if labour actually shifted enough to vote for this, or if it's just wishful thinking (I kept hoping labour would oppose the government but...)

If we could lose May, Johnson and Fox at the same time that would be even better!
