I believe it's 'No bleach'.

I thought I remembered the triangle being an abstract representation of an iron. But based on the tag in the shirt I'm wearing, you are right. The iron one actually looks like an iron. I wouldn't be able to figure out what these symbols meant if there weren't words too; I wonder how many people really rely on them. My triangle has 2 diagonal lines in it; "non-chlorine bleach only". The iron has 2 dots which apparently indicate a "warm" temperature (but there is no cold ironing, so I still don't know what that means. low heat? medium heat?). It doesn't matter as I'd never iron this sweatshirt anyway, and I never wash with chlorine bleach. When I do iron, I don't look at the tags, except maybe to check what the material is, because the iron's setting is based on the material.

> There was a suggestion that the temporary closure of lanes on Leith Walk could be used as an experiment to study the impact of reducing traffic on the route and the plans could be amended if justified. Rob Leech responded saying that would possibly mean making a variation to the contract – a potentially costly business.

Why does it seem that Edinburgh is always discussion projects when some aspects of it are already locked down in contracts? This was the same problem with the awful roundabout they're putting in at Picardy Place.

Housekeeping: the first half dozen or so links appear to be missing tags.

I'm glad to see the tags back - I find it interesting how much I relied on them. Question: how do you get the tagging system to automatically identify something you (meaning you Andrew) would label OFFS?

Um. If they are manual, why do they start up again half way through this day's list? Um. We may be in a territory where I need so much background info to understand this process that you can't speak to me quickly about it. If so, nevermind. :)

Yeahbut nobut. I know the links were missing. And then the links came back without tags - and I missed the tags. And then in this post the tags came back about half way through. If the tags were all manual, you would have all the links with tags. Automagic tags might appear in midlinklist. So: tags: magic, or your trained eagle eye establishes the appropriate tag(s)? Or mix? Or?

support is very low

Support will get higher once the St Petersburg Troll Factory gets its teeth into it.

It's all chaos. If we're still members of the UN security council and of NATO, they'll still want us destabilised.

I wonder whether people's bodies can tell the difference between externally caused food insecurity and severe efforts to lose weight.

It's becoming clear to me that the only solution to Edinburgh's traffic conumdrums is to build a network of tunnels under the city. I'm sure we could bring the project to a successful completion for little more than the GDP of Malawi.
