Gun control: Writer says NRA has a point that implementation of existing laws is bad. I'd only heard that point from the other side. The usual NRA talking point is a claim that, since existing laws don't work, the entire legal road to gun control is futile.

Tinnitus: Tried this, and found that the placement of the index fingers is so awkward that I can't "snap" them very effectively.

Hitler in Ohio: Refers to "Adolf Hitler's adopted father." Bad phrasing. Makes it sound as if he was Adolf's stepfather. No, it's the father who was adopted as a boy. (Though the Hiedler/Hitler who adopted him may also have been his birth father: he was registered at birth as illegitimate.) Nothing irregular about Adolf's birth.
