Sana, Anna and Khi joined me and Erin for Cube, which was as tense as I remember (although the dialogue was slightly clunkier than I recall. I suspect the first time round I didn't noticed as I was far too busy remembering to breathe).

Then Sana left (she said she had to be up early, but as she's still online her excuse now sounds a tad feeble) and we watched Quills. Wonderful stuff - Geoffrey Rush is truly demonic and Michael Caine, Kate Winslet and Joachim Phoenix all give fantastic performances, even if the ending is a tad weak.

Definitely a good evening. It's so nice to relax with friends.

And didn't enjoy it either. Shame really.

I am going to see it, but I have mixed feelings, as I've seen very few films recently that have produced such mixed reviews.
