Of course May wants to be seen as Thatcher's successor. It's just unfortunate that when I hear "strong and stable" it reminds of Putin and Erdogan.

I don't think that's so much "unfortunate" as "inevitable".

I don't view countries being strong as a good thing. I much prefer negotiation and compromise over demands.
