I was part of an all-male University Challenge team. I did ask my female friend to audition with us but she wasn't keen. I can understand why.

I also knew very little about Zoroastrianism until recently, then bought a book (this one) on a whim and about half the book covered it.

The main reason the Romans moved the main capital to Constantinople was almost constant war with Persia, Zoroastrianism, Xianity and Judaism heavily competed for converts and the ongoing war caused such disruption in Arabia that another new religion came out and then basically conquered the whole region, etc. Given that I nearly trained as a history teacher, to know virtually nothing about this shows a LOT of the problems in our history education at school, etc.
