Date: 2017-02-07 04:59 am (UTC)My eyes' degree of astigmatism seems to change slightly on some days, and a theoretical solution I considered was glasses with round lenses (like Harry Potter), which you could manually rotate to the appropriate degree/axis for the astigmatism. That wouldn't let you adjust the sphere/cylinder values though.
Glasses that could automatically test how much correction you need for both near and far, and astigmatism, and then apply the correction dynamically in real time, would be great. Someday maybe they'll be able to do the same with contact lenses, and then with implantable lenses.
Or maybe they'll find a way to keep our biological eyes & lenses in good condition.
