Clearly I need an awesome l-shaped sofa, with a fold-out bed, and blackjack and hookers!

Where is a good place to buy such a thing from?

(Blackjack and hookers optional, fold-out bed bit would be very useful, but I can live without it if necessary. Budget-wise I'm fairly sure that anything that is of decent quality is going to give me a heart attack, so I'm entirely open to suggestion.)

Several years ago, I would have been open to finding one on the street—actually, a lot of our furniture is from the street—but after the bedbug epidemic a few years ago, I'm not so sure about used furniture anymore.

If you feel safe considering a used sofa, you can get a whole lot more sofa for your money.

We paid £90 for a three seat leather sofa with recliners both ends.

We were looking at Nabru a couple of years ago. Modular, different styles, design and deliver and bolt together. Very cost effective way of buying and building something for a specific space with specific functionality.

Looked reasonably good value. But then dalglivk fell in love with some Laura Ashley sofas and that was that ;)

It's hard rubbish collection here soon. Fly over, we'll drive around, look at things so cruddy people don't even want them in the pool room, it'll be great! But you're not storing it at my place when you go home. :D

I'm really good at blackjack but am overseas *and* flat out of hookers, sorry.

Coincidentally, I'm also in the market for an L-shaped, price tag: FREE. I have a love seat and huge leather couch pushed together at the arms on one side to form the L because Space Issues and because I'm broke. The L-shaped is my favorite decorating dream of the moment.

Fold out couch will probably hurt your back unless you buy some plush super-expensive model that somehow designs around the big middle crossbar that will inevitably dig into your back and make you wonder how your spine could possibly bend like that without snapping. I hate them so.

But ymmv, of course, so good luck finding all your mandatory and optional components. :)

We got two nice ones from worldstores.co.uk for £349 about eighteen months ago. The one in the front room has stood up well to almost daily use as a bed until my son moved out last month, and he and my mum both say it's very comfortable to sleep on, which is a huge compliment since they both have back trouble.

The one in the living room, on the other hand, has suffered a bit from having an enthusiastic German Shepherd taking a running jump onto it on a regular basis, and now sags in two places. But I don't really think we can blame the manufacturer for that ;-)
