Hurrah for the wind

Wind Power is finally arriving.

Well, if by arriving, you mean, will produce 5% of the country's power, and is more expensive than the alternatives.

But hopefully, with a little investment and time, it'll get cheaper and more efficient.

As long as they don't site it on (say) pretty bits of Scottish islands (as they want to).

Put ithem out to sea, and damn the expense!! Scenery is wrecked by those things and tourists(etc.) go to places for scenery.

I'm more impressed by the tidal power schemes - the uk at least has some wicked tidal races that coudl preovide tons of electricity.

Well, these ones are being placed out to sea, I believe. And you could happily combine them with tidal generators, I'd have though, in the same place.
