Wow, that sounds like absolutely bog-standard typical neurobollocks. I mean, the churnalism reprinted press release clears a low bar by mentioning training and brain plasticity right at the end, but I don't see see much reason to take this data seriously. People doing different cognitive tasks show different patterns of brain activity, and this is supposed to be news or tell us something about the nature of empathy? Please!
