This isn't because I don't like the SNP, loathe the idea of more power for Scotland, or don't want a strong block on the left. Hell, I'm actively amused by the results.
But I don't approve of them. Because the people of Scotland don't want 100% SNP representation.

Similarly, I don't approve of the results in the UK-wide elections are fair, for much the same reasons.

What I want to see are coalitions everywhere. I want to see the rest of the UK to look like Scotland's council elections - where only six of thirty-two areas are controlled by a single party, and everywhere else they have to listen to people of all types, and find solutions that are compromises, that take into account what more than a small percentage of the population wants.
74% of people back proportional representation. It's time. Well beyond it.
