A friend: Posts something that is technical, or on a subject that they, and some of their friends, have specific, deep domain knowledge of.
Someone else: "Speak English! LOL!"

Pisses me off, every single time. If people are having a conversation, and you're not educated enough in the topic to contribute usefully, then either ask useful questions to educate yourself, or keep quiet until a conversation comes along that you _can_ take part in.

Leaping in with "I don't understand complicated things, but still feel that the conversation should be all about me." is annoying, childish, and was mildly funny the first time I encountered it, 30-odd years ago.

Oh God, I'm a grumpy old man.

Amen! Plus, it ends up being way more long-winded if everyone expands every term of art to lay language every time.

I prefer for people to say "excuse me, I'm feeling excluded, would you mind talking about something that everyone can participate in" than be passive-aggressive about it.

If that's a literal quote, my reply would be "you first"—the technical or other specialized terms are in more dictionaries than "LOL" is.

Either that or "nice try, but laughing at your own jokes doesn't mean they're actually funny."
