I have family geneaology up on Geni.com, as a useful way to store it.

I just got invited to share family history by someone from Hungary- and Geni helpfully gave me the genealogical links between us.

Apparently they are my great grandmother's husband's niece's husband's aunt's partner's great aunt's husband's first cousin 7 times removed.

We're practically brothers!

Wow. How many of those people were listed in your tree versus theirs, to begin with? Or does that include pieces of family trees which were uploaded by many different people?

Many different people. Geni has access to the bigger picture, and then lock down individual trees.
