An organisation that allowed (allows?) child abuse to persist, unpunished, barely punished, covered up, or somehow sickly justifies it while moving perpetrators to new locations to give them fresh starts (and fresh victims in some cases) is truly rotten.
Let's see some justice done. 'Ignorance' should be no protection from the law.

I've read some research that people that see themselves as being "good" let them get away with so much more, because they believe that anything they do must be a good thing.
Frankly, it's sickening.

It applies in so many different fields, it's really quite worrying.
