andrewduckerNVidia just released a graphics card with 5,760 cores, running at around 8TeraFLOPs(that's 8,000,000,000,000 operations per second).
Taking a look at this article here, that's approximately equivalent to the sum total in processing power of _every computer on the planet_ in 1990.
Golly.
(I had a 386, I think, running Windows 3.0. Them were the days.)
