So, I started playing Minecraft

Grabbed an introduction guide, and started working my way through it.
"Punch a tree. Turn wood into a wooden axe. Dig a hole. Get some stone. Build yourself a home before it gets dark, otherwise Things In The Dark will kill you."
Sadly, during the "Get some stone" part of that, it got very dark indeed, and I came out of my newly dug hole, said "Oh shit!" and then retreated into my hole again, and sat there staring at the sky in a terrified fashion until it got light again.
I hear this is not uncommon.
