Many years ago there was a movie about a man who just couldn't take it any more, snapped at the banality of modern life, and went on a murderous rampage against all the things he hated about society.
Sadly, it was directed by Joel Schumacher and, well, not very good.
This one looks better:
(Not least because it looks like having a second character who goes further than the main character highlights how this is not a _sane_ response, by any means.)

Date: 2012-03-10 03:19 pm (UTC)I just watched Pretty Poison (Anthony Hopkins and Tuesday Weld, 1964) yesterday, and this trailer suggests that God Bless America may have some of the same factors I liked about Pretty Poison.
