Sep. 1st, 2011 08:50 amSo, having spotted a trend of people who used to post on LJ, went quiet for a long time, but are now posting on G+, Facebook, etc. I'm curious - what is it that makes you happy posting there, but not here?

I rarely post on facebook [other than blog links] and mostly find it distracting rather than remotely useful. My missed messages inbox is at 300+, and I don't think I've attended a single even through it.
I read LJ near exclusively for Andrew's posts, which are among the most interesting and informative things I ever see online.
I'd probably just RSS his site, but I'd miss out on LJ comments
