But bear in mind that these are one-liners, and not necessarily that representative. Josie Long was quite good, but more of a long-form comedian. And the comedy/magic show we saw was good too.
Heh, oh I'm sure I did miss out on good stuff :) But I like one-liners; I've been a fan of Tim Vine for a long time and while I did genuinely think his was the best here, it wasn't one of his better. Even the genre of one-liners can do better, is all I'm thinking.
I must confess it took me a few beats to get the first one (password) - my first take was "Ok, so that's 32 characters ..." and I then spent far too long using "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" as a source phrase for a strongish password of eight characters. "SW&t7ds." would do the trick, and is probably strong enough for most purposes, though not perfect ... but I found it hard to see how anyone could find it funny.
It's probably my own fault for cutting my daily humour intake down to a diet of nothing but XKCD.
