Article here on the fact that hallucinogens (LSD, magic mushrooms, peyote, etc.) are almost entirely undeserving of their illegality.

Well worth reading, especially by those people who believe that these things are universally dangerous.

The studies about using high dosage acid to cure alcoholism that were done back in the early 60 were seriously impressive - an 80% cure rate of long-term alcoholics who wanted to quit (over 5 years) simply by given them lots of acid in a peaceful environment and having someone calm there to help if they start to freak. AA only manages 50%...
