This one's come round again and I don't have my previous result handy.

I score -2.12 on the economic left/right scale and -6.31 on the libertarian/authoritarian scale.

Meaning that I think that companies need to be regulated, but to the minimum necessary and that on a social level you can bloody well keep your hands off of my body.

Thake the test yourself here

One question in particular piqued my interest

"Abstract art that doesn't represent anything shouldn't be considered art at all."

My definition of art falls somewhere along the lines of "anything that emotes".
The less function something has while emoting, the purer the form of the art.
Abstract art is generally non-representational, so it emotes without function, so it is the purest form of art of all.

All of these statements may be wrong.

About 10 (or maybe more) years ago, I recall saying is "All art is exaggeration". I haven't much changed my mind. Art is something that I have become less and less concerned with over the same 10 years or so.

The last time I took this test, I got something like -8 left/right scale and -6 libertarian/authoritarian. What I find amusing is that I have friends that are all over the map wrt the left-/right scale, but anyone who is more than maybe a -3 on the libertarian/authoritarian scale is someone I won't be able to talk about any form of social issues with w/o one of us getting rather upset and long-term friendships have proved to be almost impossible. I'm rather puzzled by this result.
