Go to google.com and type "do a barrell roll" in the search box.

Something interesting happens only if you use a browser that Google approves of apparently.

It doesn't work with Firefox, either. Of the available browsers I have, it only works in Chrome.

I think people are doing what I did at first and putting quotation marks around the words, at which point it does not work.

Actually, I was referring to Opera.

I get a bunch of search results. Nothing more interesting than that happens.

It might be the up-to-date thing in Firefox. I've deliberately squelched updates on Firefox since the divorce with Google because I don't want to loose my Google bookmark toolbar function.

It lets me bookmark pages in whatever browser I'm in, on whatever machine I'm on, and then access those bookmarks from any other browser/machine that also has the toolbar set up in the browser. As this seems to be a doomed technology since the divorce (and Google is killing the bookmark toolbar function anyway), I've been migrating some of my new bookmarking to Pinterest instead, and am planning on hunting down another multi-platform bookmarking utility to migrate all my extant bookmarks to, but so far, I haven't, so the Google toolbar is precious.

Delicious is probably not an improvement for me over Pinterest since I prefer folder-style sorting to tag-style sorting. And none of them seem to help with wanting a drop-down menu of saved bookmarks available from the toolbar of any browser I'm using.

.... why don't you just use Firefox Sync for that?

Well, for one, Firefox Sync only comes pre-installed on versions of Firefox higher than the ones that run Google bookmarks, so it's not exactly lying around handy, and for two, that doesn't help me get the same cluster of bookmarks available in other browsers, only other installs of Firefox, unless I'm missing something.

Ah! I missed the "other browsers" part of that requirement. My bad.

And yes, it requires a newer Firefox - but my point was more "why not GO TO the newer Firefox and get it?". And your multiple-browser requirement answers that.

Doesn't seem to work in Safari.

"Tilt" does, though.

I updated Firefox last week and I just get random search results from this.

Oh, wait.

It works and does the cool thing but not if you use quote marks around do a barrel roll.
