Today's LOTR marathon ground to a halt at 10pm, when we'd made it through the first two, and decided that 2:30am was a little too late to be watching movies until.

So, bed now.

We did a LOTR marathon a few months back, all three extended versions.

I suspect a Harry Potter marathon would be a whole weekend project.

When my mum and I watched the three extended editions back to back we started at sometime before nine in the morning - which had the advantage of allowing time for lunch and supper. It is an approach to be recommended!

This is why I usually don't _start_ movie marathons, although I admit the "watch them anyway" method achieves 2/3 more success than my method :)
