This country really needs some serious oversight of political campaigning and advertising. I'm still in a state of disgust over the fact that there appears to have been no recourse for complaining about my local now-MP baldly lying in his campaign about who his real opponents were (the thrust of his campaign was 'VOTE FOR US OR THE TORIES WILL TOTALLY WIN' - in the end he beat the Lib Dem candidate by about 150 votes).
