What the fucking fuck? Man stabs friend because he was upset at not being waved at. I mean, what?

A quick way to discern someone's mood is to see how they would react in the following story. You're walking down the street when you see a friend, you wave, but they don't wave back, why was that/how do you feel/what do you do?

A Canadian Christmas with David Cronenberg (1986)

In this 90-minute event, Santa (Michael Ironside) makes an emergency landing in the Northwest Territories, where he is exposed to a previously unknown virus after being attacked by a violent moose. The virus causes Santa to develop both a large, tooth-bearing orifice in his belly and a lustful hunger for human flesh, which he sates by graphically devouring Canadian celebrities Bryan Adams, Dan Ackroyd and Gordie Howe on national television. Music by Neil Young.

I'd watch it. In fact I now want someone to get David Cronenberg to make this.

Being blanked is something I have a particular issue with. I would go and angst about it for days, possibly weeks. When persistently blanked by one person, it took over a year to get used to it; he later said "I think it's better to say nothing and not talk than to shout at you"... aargh!!!

I wouldn't be aggressive towards the person though.

As a basic, I'm going to go with "non-consensual sex". There's always going to be fiddly grey areas where people disagree about the nature of consent, but as a basic definition it works pretty darn well.

He is indeed, he's the man after which the Gordie Howe Hat-trick is named - getting a goal, an assist and a fight all in the same game :)

Oddly he only ever had two Gordie Howe Hat-tricks his entire career.

Reading it several times through.

The guy who stabbed his friend was the guy who didn't wave. The victim was annoyed, rang the driver of the car to say how angry he was, and the passenger then got out, went back and stabbed him.

So it wasn't stabbed for not waving, it was stabbed for complaining about not being waved at. The mind boggles.
