Date: 2010-11-05 04:55 pm (UTC)You can do duck typing on compilation. Google's language "Go" does it - it just checks that a class has all the methods that an interface defines. A tiny bit slower than making the class declare that it implements an interface, but with the advantage that you can reuse classes that you don't have control over.
I shall keep my fingers crossed for the next version of c# :->

I'm not sure if I was more upset that nuclear reactors were actually made of Duck Tape, or that ordinary Duck Tape wasn't good enough for the job.
