Date: 2010-10-13 06:25 pm (UTC)I liked cheese as a kid, and when I was about 12 I went off it over a period of about 6 months. It was very odd. First I didn't like very strong cheeses, then I didn't like reasonably plain cheeses, then I went off cheddar, and finally I went off of processed cheese. There's something in it that just tastes _wrong_.
If I could change that, I would.
Good article though.

Date: 2010-10-13 06:28 pm (UTC)I can just about understand someone who doesn't like incredibly strong mature cheddar. I mean, you could like goat's cheese, or prefer a nice ripe brie perhaps. Maybe you were some kind of snob who wouldn't eat cheese unless it was mouldy, weird but okay.
But not liking cheese at all?

Date: 2010-10-13 08:15 pm (UTC)I've had a housemate and, separately, a girlfriend who were lactose intolerant, ergo no cheese, and therefore no pizza. Given that cheap pizza was my default meal at the time, this caused a problem for cheap student dates :-(
