Some months after the rest of the planet and long after the Dreamcast has been discontinued, I finally have a co yof Rez. I played my first game of it just now and good lord it's fantastic. I was completely wrapped up in it, which hasn't happened in a while.

I never thought wireframe could be so pretty.

Not that I'll ever try it, but I hear it's great with certain chemicals.

Out of curiousity -- what all does the Dreamcast version have? All the bonus modes and unlockable stuff, or just the core five levels? I have the PS2 port, and love it, but I'm almost tempted to buy an import of the DC version if it's not a straight port.

If it's a port, though, rejoice: SO. MUCH. REPLAY. VALUE.

Ken's right. It is very nice while chemically enhanced.

The graphics are "supposed" to be better, but my Euro DC version has yet to work. Either I've got a bad factory burn, or I need an actual European DC to play it on. I haven't gotten around to trying it on other American DCs to see if mine's just being picky.

The Japanese PS2 version apparently comes with a vibrator.
