I went to YouTube. Performance was not good ;-). But it's impressive that it works at all - I assume it's a combination of overlaying the normal page with an opaque canvas, passing events through, and what I expect is an un-hardware-accelerated process of capturing the contents of the page behind the canvas element and rotating it.

Sounds about right. It'll be hardware accelerated in the next version of Firefox, I'd have thought.

There's definitely overlaying going on, because NoScript warned me about it.
