A few days ago I saw an amusing image I liked on Twitter, and shared it on the Facebook Page I have set up to share links.

It's now been viewed over a million times, has over a thousand comments, and over eleven thousand shares. Which makes it, by far, the most viral I've ever gone.

It also got me over 1,000 likes (over 250 more have liked it in the last week), which triggered Facebook to check I have 2-factor authentication set up.

I wonder how differently Facebook treats pages with more followers. It does seem, for instance, to have stopped showing me a notification whenever someone comments. Which is good for the 1,200 notifications I would have had on a silly image. But on the other hand, means I probably won't see the actual interesting discussions on the more serious links.

I also wonder how many of those people will hang around for links about political doom. I guess I'll see!
