This weekend is so far nice and relaxing. I slept in until 9am (which seems ridiculous from the point of view of even two years ago, but right now sounds lovely). Achievements so far today: Finding an ice cave, and one in the jungle, with the result that:

We have been invaded

At the moment, a whole bunch of boxes and other clutter is in the study. It was in the second bathroom, but that's still drying out from having been replastered, so it's curently taking up space all around me as I type.

_Somewhere_ underneath that is something with feet. Feet that make pitter-pattering sounds. Feet that almost certainly belong to a mouse*.

Or, at least, rational, sensible Andy thinks they almost certainly belong to a mouse.

To the highly-sensitised ears of movie-watching Andy, they are _clearly_ the movement sounds of a Facehugger.



*Current nickname: Tarquin. Julie says I shouldn't name the creatures that occasionally visit the flat. But other people name cars and computers, and I don't do that, so naming living things seems reasonable to me.
