So, there was a song called "Somebody that I used to Know":
And people liked it, and made their own versions, to the point where there are over 25,000 hits on YouTube for "somebody that I used to know cover"
So the original guy behind the song took a whole bunch of them, remixed them into a whole and produced a fantastic response to the craze called "somebodies":

My favourite take on the whole thing is "Some Music That I Used To Love":
which nicely captures the feeling of having fallen in love with a piece of music that then gets played to the point where it ceases to mean anything to you.
