My fifteen microseconds of not-actual-fame
Apr. 1st, 2012 09:50 pmAround 10am this morning I saved off the link to Google's April Fool "Really Advanced Search".
It has, since then, been retweeted about 41 times, and the link has been clicked on 7.926 times. Which, as my previous record was under 200, pretty much blows my mind.
Of course, this doesn't actually change my life in any way, I think only about three people have started following me, and nobody will even remember it within a few hours/days.
But still, it boggles me slightly.
Have some meerkats and curious squirrel monkeys from today's trip to the zoo:
(By the way, I am _loving_ the functionality whereby Dropbox on my Android phone automatically uploads any photos I take, which means that by the time I get to my computer the photos are already there waiting for me. Coupled with the unlimited uploads I get from GiffGaff it means that my photo-posting is pretty much frictionless.)
