Status Update

7:30 arrival from a BT engineer (in this case, because he only lives a mile up the road, and so dropped in "before really starting work".)
Then four hours of swearing and support calls to various locations, before getting the correct settings on the router right, and then magically, I had the internets working. (Magic setting - PPoA versus PPoE. Why it had defaulted to the wrong one, I have no idea. Why there even are two different settings in use in the UK is also baffling to me.)
Anyway, not planning on being on it much anyway, going back off to play Dominion and throw snowballs for the dogs to catch.
