Badminton Apologies
Aug. 28th, 2008 07:45 pmI run a weekly badminton game. It got very quiet over the festival, and was costing me money, and so I dropped back down to two courts, rather than three. And then this week I had about 12 people wanting to come. So the 4 people who made it every week got priority, and the four most regular after that.
And then this week I slept in at Julie's, and couldn't book courts until I got home to mine at 9:30 this morning, which meant there were only two courts left. So next week will be cramped again, and lots of people can't come.
I'm going to start inviting people 10 days in advance, and then booking in as many courts as necessary, getting up early to make sure I get as many as I need.
If you're interested in playing, once I get it back up and running again properly, please let me know! And if I haven't invited you for today, or don't for next week then now you know why - and I'm sorry!
