Merry Christmas to all of you!

And I mean that in much the same way that when I swear I say "Jesus Christ!" despite not really even believing there was any such historical personage. Christmas is ingrained in me, built into the fibre of my being from 35 years of celebrating a day of family and food and presents. The origins, religion, cultural baggage, etc. is all secondary. Christmas is just what you do at this time of year.
