A sense of scale

ianjcoleman had this link to a map for Traveller - the SF RPG. What's amazing about it is the sense of scale it gives.

Zoom right in - take a look at the number of worlds there are, how many systems, confederacies and empires you can see. Then zoom right out and take a look at how big the entire mapped area is.

I mean, how would you tell?
