Aug. 11th, 2007 12:39 pmI found the perfect wardrobe - only Ikea only have it in stock in the really expensive finishes or white (which is much cheaper, but won't look right in my room). This has remained the state for days. Of course, they aren't answering their phones and they don't seem to be able to order in new stock that you want...
In addition, I ordered some brackets and shelves from B&Q 11 days ago, and they're still waiting for the wall fixings to come into stock. Why is it so damned hard to ship stuff out?

Aug. 11th, 2007 05:37 pmBad Technology News - Google Video is shutting down, which means that if you bought anything from them you'll lose it. Which is why I will never, ever buy DRM protected media - access is at the whim of the people that sold it to you, and if they go under you're fucked.
Good Technology News - Universal is going to try selling DRM free MP3s. Which I will happily pay for. I don't have a problem with paying for music - I just have a problem paying for music and then not being able to listen to it later. I hope that this catches on - I really do.
