andrewducker: (House with a silly face)
On the phone trying to get a 24-hour plumber, as our downstairs neighbour has water coming through their kitchen ceiling.

Not really what I want to be doing at 1am.

Edit at 1:45am: So far four different "Emergency Plumbers" have failed to answer their phones, and ReactFast have called me back (after half an hour) and told me they can't get anyone for me. This is not what I call "good".

Edit at 2am: Giving up. Ed has offered to stay up until 7am and call a plumber then...

The Everything Test

There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality
You are more logical than emotional, more concerned about others than concerned about self, more atheist than religious, more dependent than loner, more lazy than workaholic, more traditional than rebel, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more cynical than idealist, more leader than follower, and more extroverted than introverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are adventurous (90%), intellectual (87%), romantic (71%), greedy (64%).

Stereotypes
Punk Rock80%
Geek80%
White Trash50%

Life Experience
Sex33%
Substances43%
Travel39%

Politics
Your political views would best be described as Socialist, whom you agree with around 100% of the time.
  Socioeconomic
Your attitude toward life best associates you with Upper Class. You make more than 0% of those who have taken this test, and 13% more than the U.S. average.

If your life was a movie, it would be rated PG-13.
By the way, your hottness rank is 67%, hotter than 92% of other test takers.

Got a call from [livejournal.com profile] purelyskindeep at 10am this morning, following which he popped round, we went to B&Q and now he's replumbing the underneath of my kitchen sink. Which is saving me an absolute fortune (I've promised to come round and fix his PC in return).

Post arrived this morning - recorded delivery of a summons to jury service at the Edinburgh High Court. So that should be interesting.

Went to see this last night. Final production is tonight, and I heartily recommend it. Much giggling and fun was had. [livejournal.com profile] eduard_green took this fantastic photo:

I'm wondering about the level of mathematical understanding on my friends list.

Go here and check out both the magical puzzle and my explanation.

Then come back here and tell me if my explanation made sense to you.
