was hugely entertained by the cholesterol/ateriosclerosis non-connection when I caught it about 3 weeks ago. The slant put on it at the time wasn't emphasising that point, but still touting the party line that high fat intakes were problematic - I hoped someone else would pick up the actual interesting point :-) Seems you have. Has anything mainstream though?? BadScience possibly... (haven't looked).

As ever, we shall have to see how it pans out in humans...

I've been learning about it for a while because I have a couple different kinds of synaesthesia. What's pretty exciting to me is that she's the first person to study tickertape synaesthesia, which I've got, and I hadn't heard of anybody else experiencing it before.

Also! Via your link I discovered that my next-door neighbour worked on her website. And the world shrinks again.

Oh, wow. I see time very much like the diagram in that article, and like some of those quoted, had no idea it was unusual. I don't find it helps me with memory, though.
