Wrt the gender differences study, I have yet to see any evidence that this isn't the cause of at least 90% of all gender-based behavioral differences. The data exists, and it's all pretty darn clear.

There's also plenty of perfectly clear data I've seen that show that hormones affect general behaviour. Of course, there are less of these hormones in children than there are in teenagers, and the expression of the general changes are down to culture/nurture, but they definitely seem to be there.
