NetBase Thinks You Can Get Rid Of Jews With Alcohol And Salt

That was good for a chuckle. But the triumph of the Semantic Web is just around the corner! No, really. It'll be really big Real Soon Now. Certainly by next year. Saint Tim Berners-Lee says so, and he invented the web, so he ought to know.

(Not yet in the league of Xanadu but give it time. To be perfectly fair, though, unlike Xanadu, there are specific applications of Semantic tools and technologies that do work well in particular contexts.)

In areas where a ontology can be agreed upon, exchanging data in defined formats works fantastically. I think there's a lot of merit there.

Understanding natural language is hard enough for people - I think it unlikely that computers will manage this week :->
