Can you give a bit more about the context? From reading around it, an established writer has had a dose of religion after a heart attack and complained to the sci-fi channel about including homosexual characters/themes?

An author made a post about how terrible it was that the SyFy channel were giving in to GLAAD and promising to improve the representation of homosexual people in their shows.

Cue 5000 people descending with pitchforks and torches, and the eventual "backtracking" of the author
