It's certainly my favourite U2 lyrics, and it's well up there as a song - I love that whole album.

And yes, going to the concert. Wasn't until half an hour ago, but some googling just got me a pair of tickets for a somewhat eye-watering price.

Does the seller have them in hand yet? I still haven't got mine from ticketmaster. My seat are crap, but I don't care. Saw them in Dublin 2 weeks ago, and they were amazing as ever. Have you seen them before?

I bought them through GetMeIn - which is the person-2-person website that Ticketmaster runs. Apparently they'll be on their way to me in the near future.

I'm standing. I'd much rather be standing at a concert, you get much closer to the stage :->

And I've seen them twice before. PopMart at Murrayfield in Edinburgh and All That You Can't Leave Behind in London.

I'd have loved to see the Zoo Tour for Achtung Baby, but sadly I didn't get into them until after that!

I saw Zoo TV on all 3 legs (Inside in Miami, Outside in Chicago, and Zooropa in Rome); and on every tour since. Joshua Tree was my first... my lament is that I didn't see them even earlier. Mom wouldn't let me.

I was standing for Dublin. Make sure to get there early if you want to be close. I was in the middle and you can't really see the stage at all. But the screen is massive, and the sound is great. You will enjoy it - it is a million times better than Pop Mart was (their worst tour in my opinion).

I am very envious.

And I'm looking forward to it. PopMart had spectacle, but wasn't that much fun - they were a bit burned out by then. All That You Can't Leave Behind was cut down a lot, less tech, but closer to the crowd. This one looks to be ramping the spectacle back up again.

It will be interesting to see what you think. Although the stage is massive (I posted a pic after the show), the performance itself is actually one of the most stripped down I've seen. The claw is mostly a cool light show with a huge high quality screen so everyone can see the action up close. There a few more music video moments, in particular a fun video played during "I'll go crazy if I don't go crazy tonight" - a song from the new album I don't actually like, but I enjoyed the version they played live.

The sound was fantastic in Dublin, I'm hoping it will be the same in Hampden.
