* This has happened before at a Wildhearts gig. At the Astoria in London, this unknown support came on and started out, sans singer, with a half-decent classic metal style riff. Had potential we thought until the singer arrived in a one-piece catsuit, opened his mouth, wailed in a high-pitched squeal and watched 85% of the crowd point, laugh and head for the bar. The place really did just empty on the spot! You may know them better as The Darkness.
