I've just returned from holiday and although it was bliss to be away from the internet I was itching for Gmail by day six.

I've noticed that I over-indulge in the interwebbynettubethingies when I need to retreat from being around lots of other people. Which (despite my outward-going exterior) I periodically need to do: Inside this gregarious and extroverted shell there's an introvert screaming to be locked in.

When I'm on vacation and having fun being around people, I tend to stop following my LJ Flist and hitting on news sites, other than a cursory daily look and the headlines and dealing with urgent email. But after a few days it all catches up with me and I need to dive into a laptop for a few hours.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel too. Get in some time seeing people and enjoying myself outwardly, then come home and distract my brain with a nice bit of internet until my cortisol levels drop :->

Clarification needed in question 2! I would blog about a holiday, but a long while after the fact - not while I was on it. I am not going to have a honeymoon.

I suspect SB will be twittering the wedding (when we get around to it), and we'll definitely be blogging the honeymoon.

Which, given we're hoping for San Francisco and already have a couple LJ/DW staff agreeing to take us to a decent bar, would be kinda expected.
