Gordon was supposed to be helping me move house today (boxes everywhere). I chatted to him a couple of weeks ago and he agreed to come round at 12-ish to help me carry boxes up and down flights of stairs. He was gonna come through on Saturday, hang out with Hugh and Nick, go to the Mission and then come round at noon-ish today to help out.

So I was quite surprised to get a text message at 8:30 this morning telling me that he was tired and wouldn't be able to help out as he was going home to bed. Exactly why he was awake at 8:30am rather than midway through 8 hours of sleep, I have no idea.

Anyway, I phoned Joe at 10:15 (the earliest it's reasonable to phone people on Sunday) and asked if he'd come through. I'd woken him up, but 45 minutes later he was on a train to Edinburgh and he's currently putting together Stikfas toys while we wait for the van to arrive (Aaron's stuck in traffic). Yay Joe!

Everything's packed, the help is ready, now we just have to carry stuff. I can't wait for this all to be over.
