I need a bomb
Apr. 7th, 2009 10:46 amI suppose I shouldn't be surprised that 80-90% of people in the USA drink caffeine every day.
I mostly cut it out of my diet a while back, and find that I sleep better and am happier since then, but I haven't been a major user since I realised it was taking three cups of coffee to get me going in the morning and quit overnight (the headache lasted about four days).

Date: 2009-04-08 05:19 am (UTC)I'm one of those weird folk who adore the smell of good coffee brewing but can't abide the taste of it (any variety - I've tried a few different sorts, and they're all complete ick). I love a good black tea (most breakfast varieties especially, yummmmmmm) but not for the caffeine. I've tried 'em with & without, and can't tell much difference for the caff itself. Most of the sodas I drink are caffeine free, actually, unless I'm getting something at a restaurant or convenience store.
Of course, chocolate is the gods' food, so I must have my choccie! ;) But it's not required every day. I do notice that if I go several days without any caffeine at all (no choc, no sodas/tea, etc), I will develop a slight headache but nothing major. And it usually takes almost a week before I notice anything at all. *shrug*
