Yeah - I haven't really seemed to find the time recently. Hence the profileration of polls, which are a way to incite debate without me having to actually come up with a position and write about it clearly. And I'm never sure if people are going to be interested in me writing about badminton, DnD, watching Sex And The City, coding at work, etc.

My life is largely pleasantly dull at the moment. But possibly I should try sharing some of the dullness around :->

Hey Andrew, first found your journal three years ago, around the same time I found dfordoom and communicator, so I can't really tell who introduced whom. After a three-year hiatus, I now tend to visit and read irregularly, browsing through one or two months' worth of entries at time. Your journal's as enjoyable as always.

I wanted to thank you for the delicious feed, it's opened whole new worlds of information to me. I truly consider your account there one of the best finds of 2008.

Oh, and I know it's 20 days late, but is it possible you haven't seen this yet?

Am a lapsed Kibologist, occasional Subgenius, often-secular humanist, Codite martyr and also Insufficiently-Illuminated Bavarian expat studying in Oxon. Natural Science and SF geek, currently first-year CS/SoftEng undergrad after several abortive attempts at other studies. Enjoyed the latest Prodigy post immensely - I've only failed at music editing myself in the past, but might give it another go. Occasional Friends-only posting tends to mention instances of ye olde dramallama following me home and obstructing access to the floor, AKA destructive chaos/order imbalance. Am also on Facebook, but trying hard to not accept candy from strangers there after a recent privacy scare.
